GET CERTIFIED AS WBE & WOSB! I contacted Coach Tawanna during the fall of last year when I decided to start my own business. The MBE application process was intimidating when I started doing this on my own. The amount of paperwork and details the application is asking for is daunting. After trying to put up the paperwork together by myself for about a couple of months, I was nowhere close to what is required, and I gave up. Then, I started looking for someone to help me in the process and came across Tawanna, founder of Heyward-Bey International. Coach Tawanna helped me thoroughly in getting all the paperwork put in place exactly how the MBE people want to see. Finally, we filed the application, and I was expecting the process to take 45-90 days from that point.   Just two days later, I got a call from the MBE agency asking for an interview the next day. I said yes, and the interview went well the next day. The interviewer said the paperwork was so meticulously done and everything was simply perfect and was surprised to see all the paperwork done just right in the first go. She had asked several questions about the business and I could answer all the questions with confidence, as Tawanna had coached me and had me involved in the all the paperwork assembly and that helped a lot in answering all the questions.
